Everything on the engine itself is identical on the 2wd, save for the oil pan and oil pickup tube.
The only other differences are between the RE (EFI) and R (Carb'd) verions.

best way to go is buy the parts from engbldr on ebay. good parts at the right price. he usauly has the cover and chain in some combo kit. and use a piece of card board to put your bolts in the correct patteren when you take the cover off
