If that insurance claims guy can't tell a unibody from a body on frame design he should be fired and given a job filling toilet paper, hand towels, and tampon machines in rest stations along Georgia interstates.

You do not have to accept his offer, by law they are required to make you a reasonable offer. That vehicle is a classic, and should be repaired. Look up the state insurance commisioner, I think he is John Oxendine, and report that jerk first thing in the morning.

I hope you get to feeling better, but God knows that could take months, maybe even years.
