This might be a dumb question, but I was just wondering if you can adjust it..
It's a 1986 Cherokee chief, if that helps..

You can try and fabricate a threaded, adjustable pushrod...But I think once you get over a certain length, it compresses the piston too far beyond it's limits...

If you aren't getting the clutch to disengage enough, and the system has been bled properly, you may have to modify your release lever, to get a better angle!

The short answer is NO! But, if you are mechanically inclined messing with the push rod or the pedal height might change the timing of an open clutch.
If the clutch is not fully engaging and is slipping...then it is time for a new clutch KIT!

It's not slipping yet, it just don't engage till you have the pedal 3/4 of the way out..
I like them where they engage right off the floor..
Might just have to get used to it..
