you can check with a parts store like Advance for the quantities of oil and refrigerant. I'm looking into this these days as well, and an '87 22R for example, takes 7.5 oz. of oil, and 27 oz. of R-134 refrigerant.

my question is, how do you know all the oil's out of the compressor? none really "poured" out when I took my system apart for flushing (don't flush your compressor, fyi)
