Any thoughts on paintjobs (I'm braced for the suggestions).

I was kinda thinking flat OD green with a big white star on the doors & hood might look, good. Flat? Dunno if that would cover the tinfoil well enough! It might be kind of entertaining to come up with a Japanese warpaint scheme... the challenge is coming up with one that's not so obviously top, bottom, or sideways. You could do the OD camo. I'm sure it will be a little while before I resort to rattle can. On the other hand a simple white with a large red dot would look good no matter which direction you were looking at it from. Now just where can you find a nice straight white body to put on your frame.

I vote for Moab rock redish brown. No one would get this shot ever again...it would just look like you were looking in disappointment at those tires and axles laying in the trail...LOL I like the Japanese war paint scheme...sounds pretty cool and definitely different. Of course yellow with 2 hands busting out of the door might look cool too....you would already have the panic arm catch on the truck so you could keep both your arms in the truck on the wheel safe!

White is a much cooler color. I have touched that hood on an 80-85 degree day, the black adds 40 degrees at least. Might solve a few heat related problems.
Red cirlces are optional. We can easily photoshop those as necessary.

![[Linked Image]](http://www.galaxyarmynavy.com/prodimages/5994_thumb.jpg) That would be sweet and no need to re-paint the interior or door jams. Let me know when the taping/rattle can party is. edit > and buy a couple of shirts for the re-upholstering!

The fenders and doors are easy replacements, and I may just repair the doors (light rash), but what I really hate is the driver's side rear quarter damage, which will be a bugger to repair. No glass damage anywhere, except for scratches to the topside exit hatch! Yes, it's important to get all the little scratches out to help the resale of a 1990's era Isuzu Amigo. I think the scrap man offered me more than e-trade motors did.

[Yes, it's important to get all the little scratches out to help the resale of a 1990's era Isuzu Amigo. This is a bandwagon I'm going to jump on. As long as the doors still open and close, don't spend more than $50 fixing body damage on an off-roader... especially a trail-only vehicle. Pop out the dents from the inside with a 2x4 and hit it with some rattle can.

I have a set of spare doors, and spare fenders are well under $30 per side. The old doors are destined to become half-doors, anyway.
As for the doors opening and closing, that was a high priority when I got back to the campground ... I hate that sqeaking bend/crunch, and thanks to Tammy's 3-pound drilling sledge, I was able to restore silent alignment to the panels.
Dunno how much time I'll spend on the rear quarter, but I'll definitely give it some love. Uzi will never win concours honors, but I do take some pride in it...
