Well, time is money. I replaced a fender on my gen-1 in about 45 minutes (allowing time for beer) with a $40 unit from the more expensive junkyard. Even with my less than half brain, I doubt I could "fix" the existing crunched one in that amount of time...


My point exactly that is why I thought it would be cheaper and faster to replace the fender then do rust repair.
