I have an appointment in the morning with a company called Multi-Plastics of Georgia in nearby Suwanee, a few miles up the road from home. The shop owner is going to look at my flares and give me a price for duplicating them. He uses polyethylene, which he says is pretty tough but not paintable. Over the phone, he said he would need molds made up, front and rear flare for each side. He said tooling costs could easily run a few thousand dollars, then there would be the cost of the flares themselves.
Hopefully by noon tomorrow I can post here with a close price. Anyone interested please give this some serious thought, as this man would want some money to get started.
I believe I will post this on the Outerlimits board as well. Jeep Driver. What ever happened to this project? Did you meet with them?

Here's what they look like on a member's rig: http://www.4x4wire.com/mitsubishi/featured_mitsu/mmurray/I spoke to Wayne at alljeep.com. He was very helpful in tracking things down but said that it appears Bushwacker has discontinued fender flares for the Montero. Can anyone confirm that? Or can anyone get a set of old Bushwackers refabricated? Best, g t
