Swap seemed to go well. When I get the engine bay all looking good I'll post up some pics. (Day or two) The new motor looks great with the red valve cover, new ceramic header, and the chrome K&N. I was hoping the swap would fix my main problem but it did not. If you all could shed some light It'd be cool. When I start out in 1st gear, or reverse I get this vibration. It's not in all gears just in 1st and rev. About a second or two into the gear the vibration subsides. If I let my foot off the gas it goes away too. I have resorted to having to take off super slow to keep it to a minimum. The motor (new one and old one) revs free with no real vibration to speak of. My center bearing is new and at highway speeds there is no problems. Any clues? Thanks all.

is this all the time, or only first thing in the morning? you're not talking about clutch chatter from dew or condensation, are you?

motor mounts are good, u joints have no play, it's not clutch chatter. by checking the front drive do you mean disconect the rear shaft and try driving? sounds like a good idea.

Yep, that's what he means. Make sure you mark the flanges, so that when it goes back together, you're not mismatched for the timing.
It's a good way to limp home if you bash your main D/L too.

Did this vibration start after a lift kit? It sounds like the rear driveshaft angle is to steep.

That's likely; that's why we tell folks to take their flywheel in while they've got stuff torn down.
