Can anyone tell me who (if anyone) makes steering stabilizers for a '94 & '98 Amigo? You all go off roading....I need them for the 6 miles of gravel to get to my house..... Thanks!

My '90 Amigo had one stock. I replaced it with a Rancho one. You have to get aq mounting kit too. The aftermarket stabilizers don't fit the stock mounts.

No idea on the later models.

I looked at Ranchos info, but only found listings for older or 4x2 Amigos (unless there is something I am missing which is possible). I am looking at shocks too - for the 94 and a 99 suburban too, so I am checking the sites closely and trying to make comparisons. (If the county would just do a decent job blading the gavel.....)

On the older Amigos the steering is the same between the 4x4 and 4x2.

I beleive the mounting kit was NOT a Rancho brand. I also beleive that I found the info on the Summit Racing site last time I was looking for it.

I would think that a good set of shocks would be more useful on the mostly graded road. Or maybe adding some weight in the back of the Amigo. A couple of bags of sand are always good for keeping the tires on the ground.

Good luck.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll do some more checking.

(As far as mostly graded, we actually broke a shock in the middle of the road on one car we had......!)

Getting the Wheeling Fever
Calmini has them for $70. I bought one and never put it on. You can buy mine, though I have a `93 Amigo, ..would work on the `94.

My understanding is that 2gen Rodeos&Amigos (with R&P ones) have no steering stabilizer application.
