Getting the Wheeling Fever
Hi all,

Was wondering if anyone had any, or knew where to aquire these shock mounts as two of mine, one upper, one lower, have broken threadeded rods, so I have nothing the thread the nuts onto to mount the shocks. Junkyards the only place? I don't imagine you can buy these new as they are welded to the frame but you never know.

Thanks

Best bet is to refab. If you can't do it, or don't have a friend who can do it, a shop should be able to do it no problem.

Ditto what he said... unless you want to cut one off a salvage yard rig. Or someone near you has a parts rig you can cut it from. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Can you make that picture a little bigger? I can't quite see enough detail.

Now that I think of it, I had this problem on an upper mount. I welded a bolt on to provide new threads then added a spacer to get over the head of the welded bolt.

Cheers, Charlie
