If you are wanting to raise the back of the hood to reduce underhood temps, then you dont need to buy any special spacers on Ebay. Just fabricate some spacers out of almost anything, use some longer bolts, and put the spacers between the hinges and the hood. BTW, thats and old car-guy's trick from way back. It has very little if anything to do with cowl induction. It was done to combat overheating, and it usually helps. It will let some water in. If you're not doing any deep river crossing, I wouldn't sweat it.
