Thanks Bob. That's the second or third time that I've finished fixing something like that and then remembered or was reminded afterwards about liquid electrical tape. I've got to go get some of that stuff so I've got it handy next time. For this time I think the regular tape will have to do. It was kind of hard to get to, and the regular tape has got to be better than the plug was with its backside open to the elements.
