Even the Japan-built rigs have parts on them from other countrys. My Japan-built T100 had a GM radiator and Delco battery. Not surprisingly, those are also both on the short list of things that have failed and been replaced. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/pfft.gif" alt="" />

That's interesting. I assumed that the Japanese built rigs didn't use any of those parts.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
The 3.0 has a full 3" more ground clearance at the frame by the rocker panels then the Taco.
The front suspension hangs higher too and has more clearance over the Taco.

Need a Spot
Thanks everyone for the feedback. I like how the Pickup has a fully boxed frame compared to the Tacoma. Also, a lot of components for the engine have Japanese written all over them. There is also a sticker on the rear passenger window that says Made in Japan so that's a good hint. I can't seem to scrape that sticker off(any tips?).

paint thinner or brake clean and a razor blade. i usually just put some on a rag and wipe all over the sticker a few times so that i dont get any drips on the paint.

o yeah and alot of patience helps...
