I saw a "canter" in an older offroad adventures magazine the other day. It was in theXXXpedition article about the blue XJ with the black hood box. The guy was German, and he the article said it was a "heavily modified Mitsu Canter"

Did these trucks come in 4wd? did they have solid axles?
From what I have seen offered on Ebay, it looks like they are front leaf sprung solid axles. I guess this means the 4wd versions had SFA?
Is a Fuso a Canter?? Rebadged sorta thing? like pajero/shogun/montero....

Can I get a 4wd fuso truck in the US??? I'd sure as hell like to have one! Big 4 cyl deisel... hhmmmm
