They had/have solid axles. Unfortunately the only model sold here is medium duty. Abroad they used to have/still do light duty one with SR like axle rear, solid axle front and 2.8TD unfortunately this one has never been imported to US otherwise we could have absolutely legal source for 2.8TD drive line.
