Still the tera lows sit in the garage... along with the 4.77's.. and the new CV boots.

Man you need to get those in there. You'll be really surprised at how much of a difference they make in the combo pack like that.

That was part of my justification for getting the bike. I can leave the amigo a work in progress and still get around. Yet to be seen though

when looking for a container to hold drained brake fluid, find a container that is different from the beverage you are currently consuming.

Dare I say it, but I have been totally unmotivated to do anything maintenance wise with my Rodeo. I've got a busted front shock mount that needs welding, a rear main seal that needs replacing, and no a/c.

And for some reason, I can't bring myself to do it. The worst part is that it's maintenance - I don't have the cash for 'extras'.

I guess the big problem is time, but I also don't have any wheeling buddies near me anymore. So, without a trip planned, I don't do anything 4x4 related except read this board.

Anyone have any words of wisdom to pull me out of the 4wd doldrums?

My old wheeling buddies don't really wheel much anymore, they're bogged down with families and whatever. Most of the places we used to go have been closed down anyway. There are half as many... maybe only 1/3 as many places open to actually ride a trail in arizona as there were just 8 years ago.

Gas is 3 bucks a gallon and that'll get me 17 miles.

If I want to wheel somewhere less than 105 degrees F, I'm gonna have to drive at minimum 100 miles. 25 of those are going to be at 30 mph because of traffic, and another 25 of them are going to be at 40 mph with the a/c off because of my tired 2.8L engine vs. uphill.

Wow, where IS everyone?

Smiley is busy moving. That accounts for a lot of the decrease in posts I just bought a second house in northern Virginia, so the $2,700 monthly house payments has killed my mods for now. The OT forum has been busy, however

OK, so here's an Isuzu-related tid-bit for ya...

Today Miss Kathy and I became a THREE Isuzu Family
(adding a 1998 Acura SLX to the stable counts, right?)

Hey, at least now I'll finally be able to give a first-hand opinion about both vehicles when the next 'Should I buy a Trooper or a Rodeo?' thread pops-up

Six Isuzus, so far... still have three of them.
