i have yet to do anything with the shifters . i just left the trim panel off for now which lets me get in and out of 4x4. dont forget 2 heavy duty zip ties really tight around the shift boots to keep them from slipping off all the time, so you dont get water inside.

for the back 4 blocks i basically used a block of wood and lifted the entire back end from just to the side of the middle. put in the 4 back blocks, left the nuts off, then lifted the same way from the front to do the front four. then put it back down, pushed it around a bit to get everything to seat properly then did up the nuts.
