Check out some other off-road sites, too; many have diesel threads where guys talk about their diesel engine swaps. Zukikrawlers.com has lots on the VW 1.6 and 1.9 TDs into Samurai's/Sidekicks. Acme Adapter has a kit for putting this engine into Toyota mini-trucks, too! 4BTswaps is all about the Cummins 3.9, and you can find info on it at Proffitts Cruisers and Addicted Offroad.

FL Cruiser's GM 6.2 diesel with NV4500 is a good read with pix, and he has several links on his page to other sites.
