I say the seats are narrow because there is so much room between the center console and the seats. I put in a stock console. The MR2 has a narrower body and your legs are propped up by the console and door. There is almost no side support and I am a skinny person. 33 waist and no ass. The sides of the seats dig into my legs near the hip.
