I have a 3.0 V6 SWB in the states and 2.5 ITD LWB here in Australia. I would look for a 2.6 with a bad engine. From there, there are a lot of choices. I'd look for a front clip or a complete ITD from Japan. I don't know the problems that may occur from importing a parts car, but it's got to easier than one to be registered. I like the diesel. It's not a ball of fire, but I cruise regularly at 125KPH - about 75. Acceleration is slow of course, but what I miss is 50-70 acceleration. It's hard to pass on two lane roads here.
