OK, brothers!

10,66 L/100 km is what it took from the very begining;
10,26 with new K&N air filter;
9,78 with new oil filter and Shell Rotella 10W40.

Using everyday with great pleasure Downtown - Metrotown and back.

Try to take out roof rack, you do not use it every day, right?
Another thing makes me happy, every time smth like Blazer pass me by, I remind their price and GAS consumption 20 L/ 100 km.

Good luck,

From what I've found, altitude makes the biggest diff. When I was in Van, Surrey, etc, I had zero smoke, and was doing better than 10 per 100. But back at 1100m... not as good. I'm gonna try monkeying with the pump a bit, to compensate for the thinner air.

Nigel, I waxed my truck a few weeks ago at Jamboree - but I used branches. Worked great to scrape all that mud off.

yah I know altitude makes a huge difference, I am going to build hard pipes for my intake and intercooler pipes and try and make it breath alot better...that should help a pile...the accordian intake hose is pretty restrictive.

about 750 on 80L.

650-700 per 80L fill.

You guys aren't happy with 19-22 miles per gallon? (if I'm converting this right) I'd be ecstatic with those figures Us petrol boys only see 15-18 MPG

My Gen II with the 3.0L gas V6 would get 19-20 on the highway and about 17-18 mixed driving. With diesel running about $.24 more than regular unleaded here in UT, doesn't seem worthwhile to get (or convert for us in the US) to diesel.

Is it because the Gen II is so heavy that the mileage isn't better? I know the Jeep Liberty with the 2.8L CRD (only small SUV with diesel here) gets about 27-30 MPG (or 7.9-8.7 L/100 km) and it weighs about the same as a Gen II LWB.

I can't see how a Liberty weighs the same as a GEN II. its 1/2 the size. up here diesel is cheaper than gas. if I drive mine nice I can get about 25-28MPG in town, the highway doesn't usually change too much because its reving at 3500RPM doing 110km/h

I googled "Jeep Liberty curb weight" and got a base model curb weight of 3800-3900lbs for the V6 model, depending on transmission choice. Obviously not a lot of Titanium in a Liberty! LOL. We got a wayyy better deal, weight-wise.. a couple of hundred pounds more, and we get 7-seaters that can haul an assembled desk or a chest freezer no problem..

you can't really call our trucks 7-seaters though, nobody can fit in those back seats. but that isn't too impressive for dodge....I had no idea the liberty was such a land-yacht

Yeah, I'd consider seats 6 and 7 child or midget only.. LOL. I've got a rugrat though, as do most of my friends, so the seats count as far as I'm concerned!

trucks never get their EPA. I would like to see what the EPA is on a PAJERO.
