Can anyone explain to me how the power mechanism works for a Gen II front window? My window just fell one day and would not go back up. I pulled the panel and tried to figure out what happened to no avail. Well that's not entirely true. There were white plastic bits at the bottom. But I cannot figure out what broke and how exactly the mechanism works so I can fix it.
It almost looks as though it's a circuit with a single cable hooked at the top and bottom of the slider and wound through the motor off to the side. Or it's gravity fed on the downslope and the cable just hooks to the top and provides lift only.
The shop manual I have on CD does not look at all like the mechanism I have in the Paj.
Currently I have a piece of wood jammed in holding the window closed!
Suggestions?
