OK, I (regretting it now) got me a 1986 jeep Cherokee, 2.8.. Three weeks ago , it had some power issues, so I got it a Weber Carb, which did not fix it's problem The Weber Carb ...
Now since I have Learned my lesson (The Hard Way) I want to put the Weber on my 1986 Trooper, and am just wondering if it's possible to do it, it appears that it has an adapter plate on it to fit onto the jeep, and it's Actual Mounting flange looks to be about the same size as my troopers Carb.
If it isn't, is it possible to get an adapter plate and then be able to use it on my trooper???
The only thing I don't know about is the vacuum hoses, the weber only uses one, will just one work??? My trooper has about a hundred on it right now...
I think I can rig the throttle cable so it'll work
Not sure if this in the right forum but maybe someone here might be able to help...
If nobody knows I'll let y'all know how it all goes Sunday.
Matt
