255/85/16s will be 32.7" to 33.3" in diameter. 265/70-16s are only 30.6" in diameter. The differnce in gearing with 33s is fairly significant. I can still tell a difference with my upgraded 4.56 R&P versus the factory 4.30 R&P and 31s. 265/75-16s are closer at 31.8" and can be had from almost every manufacturer. 255/85-16s are an uncommon size due to their skinny width.
