After putting on a CAI a few weeks ago, I've had a chance to run a few tank of gas thru it to see what the milage is!

In short it sucks goats!

While I'd say the good side is you get at least an extra 10 HP, a whole bunch of wheel spinning low end tourqe, the ablity to pass people on the highway with 30' tires on, and 5th gear is now a usable option

The down side is it sucks gas!

Before the CAI with the stock air box and 30' tires I was getting 450 to 470KM per 40L fill, (actual numbers were 11.62KM per Litre.)

With the CAI and the same 30' tires I'm now only getting 370 to 390KM per 40L fill, (actuall numbers are 9.44KM per Litre.)

In short im getting roughly 80km less per tank!

When winter comes and I take of the 30' tires and put the smaller 26' ice tires on I'll also be putting the stock air box back! But don't worry, they'll both be back next spring! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/nana.gif" alt="" />
