Hey guy's, I'm in the process of building/modifying a boat trailer.
Right now it is a single axle trailer, but I'm going to add on a second axle.
My question is do I have to link the two axles together ( leaf springs)?
I aways see on tandem trailers the front of the rear spring is linked to the rear of the front spring.

In my case it would be alot easier to just add another stand alone axle forward of the rear axle. Do you guy's see anything wrong with this??
I don't see how it'd be dangerous, maybe it would handle different?

Thanks
_Chris..
