turbo's generally dont make enough increase in the low end of the power band to make any real difference for wheelin unless all you do is tear through the mud at high rps!

a supercharger makes more sense for our applications as it is instant power across the entire power band. and if you are not planning on high boost a supercharger will most likely be a better option.

downsides are it would be much easier to do all the fabwork for the turbo.

either way you will be looking at a new injector set up, most likely ignition and definately some sort of ecm upgrades.

not sure of how much bosst, YET!!!!, that the engine will handle with stock internals though.


this is something that is definately on my to do list as I would rather keep it a kia for now and not do an engine swap. although, it may end up being a easier adventure with much better results to do the swap.
