that is greek to us in the US. we get very little exposure to vehicles that aren't sold here. is that SC a "Roots-type" or centrifugal?

the thing is, i think it's been pretty much decided that for a DIY project, an Eaton Root-type blower would be the easiest and best way to go seeing as how they are 99% maintenance-free, with a sealed oil chamber for the bearings. they don't need oil lines or pumps and can be configured in many different ways with different pulleys, pulley coming off the right or left, front or back, etc. brackets can be made to put it anywhere it will fit and intakes can be made to match whereever you put it. now we just gotta find a pulley that will fit the crank in the Sportage angine and start making some brackets, right?

well, the Eaton M45 supercharger supposedly came on the new cooper minis, so, i'm looking in junk yards for one....
