it's for the '92. I've called around and no one has them, and Mitusbishiparts.net will take 2 weeks...I need them by Saturday for Mr. Mechanical!! I'm going to call the dealer now just to see how much.

If the tensioners just need the bearings, see if grainger or an industrial supply can get them. The pulleys are usually ok, it's the bearings that give out on em. Give that a try, may save ya some moolah

I had to replace the bearing on my 2.6 and I got it from applied industrial for about $10.

SHAA-KAA-KAA!!! $223.77 for the pair from the stealer...all of a sudden, they're not THAT noisy.
I'll definitely check into sourcing just bearings. I'm sorry to be such a whiner, but does anyone know the specs of the bearings, or a part#?? If not, I'll take one Saturday to a place locally that carries all kinds of bearings, and hope I get lucky.

Can you take one off for a few minutes to measure it with a micrometer? If you can get me some specs, I'll get you some numbers today I need OD, ID and height.

Hopefully someone else has one handy. Not only do I not have a micrometer, I'm sure I couldn't use one accurately if I did. If I end up buying new ones from MBparts.net, I'll be sure to take the old ones and find a source for the bearings for future reference.

I'm off work Wednesday, so I'll take one of mine off and measure it. I'll do the cross reference Thursday, and post up a few numbers.

Yeah he needs them because the mechanic working on his truck won't warrantee the work otherwise!
I'm sure someplace between here and Ohio would carry those bearings.. the local tractor dealer has a bearing selection I believe.
Thanks alot Hazy-Daze

Look at the archives. Others have successfully replaced these with goodyear units from Autozone at a significantly lower cost than the dealer units. Removing the bearing without destroying the pully is not easy.
