Thanks

I think he means converting to a SOA, not replacing the axle.

Well Captain the fact that you asked the question means you need to know a lot more than you do now.. Maybe you should search for "soa" or "spring over" and read up on what you have asked about. Big JIm

Alright, so I figured out that I need brake cables and an SYE(slip-yolk eliminator) kit. Has anyone done an SOA conversion to a 90's YJ and wanna share pics?

do a search on google or here theres more invovled than you think...not to shy you away but its not the "cheap" lift like everyone may think Hi everyone i havnt been on here for like a year!
anyways heres a list off the top of my head spring pearches u bolts new springs(optional) SYE new driveshaft anti-wrap bar new shocks new configuration of front steering new brake lines(there are some ways around this but i recomend you get new ones) shakle reversal(optional) relocate shock tabs(optional) trac bar relocate(if you want to keep them)
good luck man ...when done properly you will love it ...if you dont you will be breaking some stuff...i know theres a lil more i didnt mention so do your research
remember be safe
happy jeepin..
like i said please gopogle "SOA YJ" tons of stuff

I did some reseacrch and got 2 different sites saying that i'd need a slip-yolk eminator kit, new brake lines, and a new pitman arm (a stock ZJ arm supposidly works well on the YJ) and a track bar relocation bracket. Anyone who's done an SOA conversion wanna verify if that's true?
