This is a true event of how I HAD to break the crank bolt loose. A 1/2" breaker bar and a 6ft cheater pipe. Put the truck in 5th gear with a prybar jammed in the u-joint on the rear shaft. The prybar stopped the drive train from turning by hitting the frame rail. Jumped off the front tire with the cheater pipe and if finally broke loose. I thought that I sheared it off when it finally let go. Tried all other mentioned methods for removal. Good luck
