Well I ended up spending a little more and going for the Princeton Tec Apex headlamp. I liked all the specs, and it can take rechargeables or lithium batteries instead of the alkalines, most other companies don't recommend them. Two others I considered and would still buy, is the Princeton Tec Corona and the Pelican 2630.
