I have changed the wheels around some of my Monty's, but only using other stock steering wheels. I have seen a MotoLita wheel in a decked out Gen I 4-door.

If I had money to spend, I would get a horn that plays the tune that you hear in the movies when an orental guy appears (or the plane lands in Tokyo)...you know the one.

Assuming the Mighty Max is the same as the Montero in the Directional Input Apparatus Department, what was the part # on the wheel kit used to install said Apparatus? (BTW, I'm bored at work ) Its been awhile since I did the change I dont remember the # of the kit but it should be easy to find out.I got a new kit for the monty as we put another grant wheel in the Max so they could be different part #, I dont remember. If a Starion wheel bolts up then any steering wheel adapter for a starion/1G DSM should work.
If you have an aftermarket stereo (with an infared remote) and a Starion steering wheel with radio controls you can purchase a product called a PAC SWI-X which can translate the steering wheel radio controls into signals that the aftermarket radio can recognize.
It works a lot like a learning universal remote control for a TV.

Cool Didn't know such a product was available. That'll be a neat toy to check into. Thx for the info.

FWIW, Steering adaptors, On a Mitsubishi a steering wheel adaptor will fit the 1971 Colts I have as well as every other car and truck till now. The taper and spline of the shaft are the same. There was a change to the indicator return a few decades ago. The early cars had two roll pins that tripped the release for the indicators. But all Mitsues since have been using a drum that is driven by the steering hub with a 3 tap drive. Only the adjustable wheel in the 89-91 Mirage Gt had a different dimension, depth wise, but the spline is the same. I have not been swapping airbag wheels but I would be happy to check interchange of the clockspring since of the thirty some odd cars I have there are a few with bags.

You are all plenty worthy, you just have not filled your yard with cars. Actually I still have plenty of room but Mitsus can be bought so cheap. Other than us addicted types there are few who care about these cars, This seems to go for Mitsubishi Employees also.
