I'm halfway through putting a 3 1/2" lift on my truck (3" springs, 1" over stock shackles) and I'm to the point of dealing with the LSPV. I was thinking of doing the arm/turnbuckle trick, but as I was under there today I noticed that the top mounting bolts on the LSPV are about 3" from the bottom bolts-could I just reposition the LSPV by bolting the top mounting holes into the bottom frame holes? Seems like this would avoid having to fab or buy a new bracket. Would there be any danger in having 2 bolts holding it in instead of 4? I can't think that it would be under much stress.
How hard is it to fab an extension, it is a flat piece of stock with a few holes drilled in it.
