Meh i always unscrewed the sensor below the oil filter and thats were i put my oil gauge. I only have the idiot light cluster and the oil light still seems to work properly, it will flash on when the motor is bogged down to low RPM.

My guage reads 30-40 at idle and running pressure is 60-70 ish. My motor is at about 180k and stock bottom end with work on the head at 167k.

I have seen it peak at almost 80 when im turning 6000 rpm though, is that to high? It has been that way since i put the guage in with the head gasket so i dont know what running pressure was before then.
