Im looking for new tires. Currently, I have BFG Mud Terrians. What tires do you all think are good offroading tires? (mud)

For the price? BFG mud terrains are about the best! You could spend more money and get some Firestone mud terrains if you have a lot of thorns in your area.. But the Bfg is bout as good as it gets. Big JIm

On the flip side of that coin Dunlop Mud Rovers are the low cost alternative. But yeah as far as the best mud tire you can use on a daily driver the BFG KM wins hands down. Now if its more of a trail only rig I would step it up to a set of Super Swampers.

O alright cool. Are larger BFG MT's, such as 36's or 37's, look fine?

with your 4 inches of total lift you arent gonna be able to get 36's or 37's on there, 35 is the biggest i would go and thats if you just drive it on the street, 33's are great with a 4 inch lift and the bfg mud terrains are the best mud tire that you can also run on the street, they arent loud like super swampers and they wear a lot slower then super swampers

Reminds me of a short story.. Back in 86 I purchased a new Wrangler and went down and purchased a set of wheels and 9.50 mud grips.. My little son and I took it out to the local mud hole. There were 3 Blazers and pickups, all with AT's on them, thundering thru the mud hole... I took my turn and drove slowly out to the middle of the hole. I stopped and waved to all the young onlookers and then let the clutch out and came out of the hole... I told all the youngsters that THAT was the way thru a mud hole. Well the guy in the Blazer had three young ladies in there with him. So he drove out to the middle and stopped like I had done.. When I left he was still out there with his AT's spinning and the young ladies just screaming their heads off. Big Jim
