you DO NOT need to pull the dash to get the core out... just the glove box, radio, and loosen the plastic molding around the radio. thats it. I just did this a month or so ago and posted the pics on here somewhere....

the screws from behind the radio molding where DANG hard to get, but i got em! take the two screws out on the heater core side, leave the other side alone, bend the molding out, and start cutting! its tough, but doable.
