Getting the Wheeling Fever
I know I'm digging up an old thread, but my 97 T-100 has done the exact same thing since I bought it 3 years ago. No vibration until right at 60 mph... sometimes worse, somtimes better, but always a slight vibration. I replaced the BIG-O tires with REVOs a while ago, and had COSTCO use a Haweka adapter and all. The vibration is still there. I think there is something off with some of the T-100s and finding the source of the problem has been an enigma. Oh yeah, new idler arm and steering dampner a few years ago. If anyone figures it out, please let me know.

Thanks,

Vern

Need a Spot
Have you checked the front wheel bearing preload? Any play if you grab the tire at 12 and 6 o-clock?

I have a shake sometimes at 60mph but only if there is a strong side wind and I have the steering wheel slightly turned to correct.

I am almost positive it is from a tiny bit of slop in the preload.

I can tell you what I did to fix my T100 I sold it. I tried to locate the problem and found out quickly that I didn't have enough money to find the problem. I agree with AVERN I think this was some kind of glitch in some of the T100s. I have owned 4 and now looking for #5 I have always come out good on buying a T100 driving it for a year or 2 and then selling them. This was the first time I had one that shook like crazy and hope its the last.
