Hey, when I first found this kia sitting in my lawn, I did'nt know jack about 4x4s.....My only previous was a 88 Bronco 2, and all I discovered was that it DOES have a interference engine, timing gears sheared and made total soup of it.
My buddy has a 95 wrangler and hasta shift down to go up overpases on the interstate with the a/c on.....I run off and leave him without down shifting. Less wind noise, electric windows, better a/c and heater...on and on.....not to mention CHEAPER...and teh times Ive pulled him out!

My 2 cents

Drivetrain or not bad drive train....I wish I woulda built up a Ford Bronco 2!

That would have been a fun ride to build up!

That V-6 Actually had more power. Hate the wheel base and suspension though. And not to mention the RUST issue!

In CAnADA they had a version of the K-5 Blazer that I saw sometime in the 1990's. It could have been a K-10 ( but I think that it was a K-5). Slightly larger and I wanted to ask the owners about it but they left the gas station in Oregon at the time.

I am thinking that there is no such thing as a K-10

Anyway, what I saw look really nice when I saw it. Yes Canadian. No I am sure that it was a K-5!

What ever happened to those??????

K-5's were the full size blazers, then there were full size Broncos too. The S-10 was teh small Chevy and the Bronco 2 was teh half-pint Ford.
The Bronco2 was coo , cept for the wheel base. With any lift at all, it was hard keepin the shiny side up! BAD rollover tendencies (Makes Sammi look good!).
Sorry, but my opinion of any Ford or GM from the 80's is low. (And I had 88 Sub. with 188k.)Cept for the Sammis and Raiders, theyers not much from then that fits between the rocks and trees for me.
