Yep.....was talkin bout the Bronco. Cool little truck, but crappy drive train, real aneamic. The Kia has lots more power than the v6 Bronco had.
And, I'm hopin the non interfear is right.....got almost 100k and still havnt changed the belt yet! Too lazy or too busy, I'm not sure which.

Hey, when I first found this kia sitting in my lawn, I did'nt know jack about 4x4s.....My only previous was a 88 Bronco 2, and all I discovered was that it DOES have a interference engine, timing gears sheared and made total soup of it. My buddy has a 95 wrangler and hasta shift down to go up overpases on the interstate with the a/c on.....I run off and leave him without down shifting. Less wind noise, electric windows, better a/c and heater...on and on.....not to mention CHEAPER...and teh times Ive pulled him out!
My 2 cents Drivetrain or not bad drive train....I wish I woulda built up a Ford Bronco 2! That would have been a fun ride to build up! That V-6 Actually had more power. Hate the wheel base and suspension though. And not to mention the RUST issue! In CAnADA they had a version of the K-5 Blazer that I saw sometime in the 1990's. It could have been a K-10 ( but I think that it was a K-5). Slightly larger and I wanted to ask the owners about it but they left the gas station in Oregon at the time. I am thinking that there is no such thing as a K-10 Anyway, what I saw look really nice when I saw it. Yes Canadian. No I am sure that it was a K-5! What ever happened to those??????

The S-10 was teh small Chevy and the Bronco 2 was teh half-pint Ford. The Bronco2 was coo , cept for the wheel base. With any lift at all, it was hard keepin the shiny side up! BAD rollover tendencies (Makes Sammi look good!). Sorry, but my opinion of any Ford or GM from the 80's is low. (And I had 88 Sub. with 188k.)Cept for the Sammis and Raiders, theyers not much from then that fits between the rocks and trees for me.

I hear ya!
The old K-5 Blazer that I saw with Canada Plates was actually a mid-size type vehicle with the sports light package from GM.
Never really saw this type vehicle again.....

To strange to see these proto type vehicles. I think that they are rarer than the Limited Edition models.
A 4 door bronco Centurion?
Get a pic of it

From Wikipedia about Ford Broncos Bronco Centurion From the late 1980s through its demise in 1996, the Bronco was also sold at Ford dealerships as a modified 4-door SUV (making it similar to the Excursion or Suburban). These 4-door Broncos were converted by Centurion Vehicles of White Pigeon, Michigan. The conversion involved combining a new club cab short bed F-Series truck with a Bronco tailgate and fiberglass top. The end result? A huge, versatile, extremely rugged SUV. In addition to adding a third row of seats and more room, a Bronco Centurion could be ordered using an F-350 as the donor pickup, allowing the Centurion to have such engines as the 7.3L PowerStroke turbodiesel and the 7.5L 460ci gasoline V8. This made the Centurion more appealing to people in need of a comfortable tow vehicle, albeit a faster one. Over time the few of these cars that still exist are rare and valuable, except for the certain percentage of Northern cars that suffered from tailgate rust-out due to poor body paint preparation.
The Bronco Centurion could be ordered with options such as a third-row seat that can be folded into a bed, second row bucket seats, a TV with a VCR, and a built-in radar detector.
Bronco Centurions were considered as after market conversions before Ford's introduction of the Excursion as an official production model in 2000.
Pic I found on web, not my Boss's but same green color ![[Linked Image]](http://www.brianquinn.com/images/TagSaleItems/Centurion.JPG) and yes back still comes off! wicked!!

I belong to four 4x4 clubs. Most have minimum size requirements. The local one here in the Catskills has a 35" minimum (SWB) and no LWB trucks allowed (longest is a Jeep Scrambler), required front and rear lockers and a winch with 3x the vehical weight rating. We run very serious stuff.
Another group just trail rides, and has other Jeeps and mixed SUV/truck platforms. Much less wild.
Trust me, the Jeep vs. Zook thing is as heated as the Mustang vs. Camaro crowd. Many jeepers look down their noses at a well-built Samurai, and hell, that's a Samurai! That wheels better than a CJ7 outta the box. Tim, where you located in the Catskills? I live in Marlboro, Ulster County, just south of you.
1998 Sportage - Gone. 2004 Honda Civic Coupe. 2007 Suzuki Grand Vitara - She got it.
