We haven't done this in a while, and I'm now off for the summer with more time for mods, so fess up - what do you have in the works for your Pajero, now that summer is here?

I have a little project in the works, but its not official yet, so I can't comment. But here's a hint - hopefully if it all works out I'll be able to put an "s" in between "4" and "LO" on the t-case lever...

What have you all got going on?

Fresh off the boat direct to my wallet and shop

33 Nitto Grappler AT's
Major tune up/engine check/replace all fluids/pads

One of the following:
Crank Tbars and toss on a pair of OME/toughdoggie springs
or
Bite the bullet and grab that ebay 2.5" Ironman kit

Ditch the monsoon window covers (up for grabs whoever pays for shipping = front two only I believe)

Remove original gas tank plate and copy/fab checkered one
Fab transfer case/drive shaft plates

Manual hubs.. aisin's if I can find them. If not, superman's

Ditch the stock rim and grab something else.. not sure what yet ... ideas anyone ?

One of the nutsy chinese air fresheners that's more hightech than the Pajero itself.

Start fabbing a roof rack to fit around the moonroof

Figure what to do at the front.. ARB or self-fab a winch bumper.

Of course I would love to do all of this the first weekend I get it but most likely over the course of a few weeks, or months ...

ps. on another note some asswipe stole our subaru wagon last night. Don't get it. Completely stock, nothing inside to steal at all, looks like a librarian's car. idiots. Now I'll have a little Yaris rental for a month unless they find it. After that, i'm pooched for another vehicle until the Pajero comes. *crossing fingers*. Probably rent a truck on wknds. my 2-second rant.

Wow, tall plans for the Pajero. Can't wait to see the finished product! Sorry to hear about your Subie. They'll definitely steal anything... dumb@sses stole my New Yorker a few years ago. Apparently just to get home to Surrey from Vancouver.

I am now officially a Pajero owner. .

You are all more ambitious than I. My plans are to find new tires, change the belts and service the injectors, maybe get a tune from a diesel specialist.

Oh yeah, and power polish the whole truck.

I am going to polish every bit of aluminum on mine aswell. I have already polished the lips on my wheels and my bull bar. I am going to polish my roofrack and do the wheels over again with a drill and polish attachment.

I am planning to polish my truck with tree branches, and then when we stop for lunch I'll BBQ some polish sausages...
