Had a friend that had the same problem. His fix was to add an extension on the mount on the axle. Made it so the torque rod was parallel with the frame like it was stock.

Or you can make an adjustable torque rod.

Another friend found a shock that would fit in there fully collapsed, that way it still allowed for droop on the trails.

The real fix is to get an IFS steering box and x-over steering
