First thing is to do the "turn the wheel trick" and find out what gears are in there.. Then start looking.
I think that Jeep still has the NARROW rear end in it. Around here they show up almost weekly on craigslist.org.
$2/300. would be a respectable price for one that is in Ok condition.
If you get the WRONG gears you must then take the new one and the old one to someone that can change out the gears for you. $$$$! Getting the correct gears enables a direct swap!
