Need a Spot

i have a problem with my 1988 toyota pick up.It starts good but when i go to give it gas it chokes itself out. They oxygen censor might be bad. Could this be causing the problem. The truck has a slight fluder when it is running. I can drive it but i have too ease on the gas when i first start off. the lines are good and the fuel pressure is good. Please help this is driving me crazy.
