Weeeellll...I am not going to go as far as to say that. I would suspect that most O2 sensors are able to provide a reference voltage to the ECU and that range of reference is probably similar across most makes/models, but...I really don't know. Your ECU uses O2 sensors to adjust the a/f ratio and to check up on the function of your cats. If something is not right you might see low gas mileage, over heated cats or just a string of error codes.

What I am worried about is the discussion above is about 1-wire sensors, not the 3/4-wire heated sensors you need. I am actually surprised that you found generic heated sensors.

In the end, you can do whatever you want, but don't forget that if it does not work, you are going to be out an extra $100 for using the cheap sensors and you will still have to buy the correct ones.
