any vehicle gets less stable when it's lifted higher.
lots of people run 4" kits, cause they are cheap, and they work reasonably well.
wanna be different? lift it LESS than 4". it works better.

plenty of people have swapped in full width axles. you will need to move the spring perches on the rear axle, and widen the spring hanger on the front. sky manufacturing makes a full width kit IIRC.
