Well after reading this post I too have the same problem !!!!!
I pulled my 97 T100 into my garage. Using a 12 mm wrench removed the nut on the end of the throttle body shaft. Removing the cable for the gas pedal and the cruise control, I had to (with a screw driver and very little pressure) pry off the cable bracket. The whole bracket came right off. Down to the hardware store for an O ring. Found an O ring that matched the hole in the cable bracket that I took with me. O ring fit snugg on the throttle body shaft. Everything went back together well, you just have to pay attention to spring and bracket stop line up. Now I have to say my T100
idles perfect just like new. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> by the way price to fix: 61 cents. Results: PRICELESS
(what would the dealer cost?)
