I don't really get it either.. But the computer in these things takes a LOT into consideration. MAybe the computer will cover for the pressure...... But at top end it should still run dry anyway. Seems the thing eould go to hell at hiway speeds if there wasn't enough pressure.
Of course the dealers are in it for the money, so what they actually put in there does not make sense half of the time anyway. If a guy comes in and they let him get away they make no money at all.
