Need a Spot
Trying to change the fuel filter on my 2001 sportage. None of the "universal" fuel filter connector tools fit. (too little distance from the nipple on the filter out line to the filter canister itself. Kia dealership tells me they have no tool available, no solution, other than take it to them to replace. I'm not buying it, whos got the answer???

I don't know if they changed from the 95s but I'm sure if do a search here some one has posted it before.

95 Sportage, gone but not forgotten.

i think they should get changed every 40k.


01 sporty, king springs,235/75/15s,tjm nudge bar,narva blue spotties,triffa spotties,uhf,dual battery sys and a sub.

2001 uses "quick connect" fuel lines to the filter. See here...
