I'm taking this offtopic for a second, for your future benefit/enjoyment of this forum...

You have been asked nicely to keep your threads on one subject together. Spamming the forum with multiple posts on one subject is not only rude, it is against posting guidelines...

You have also been asked by helpful members to state your location, and to put your vehicle's details in your signature so they don't need to keep asking...

You were asked by another helpful poster to make the subject reflect the content of the thread...

You haven't done any of these things to this point. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/shame.gif" alt="" /> I have just had to remove FOUR of your posts (since last night) that didn't follow these guidelines, and don't appreciate the waste of time.

Before you make ANY more posts, read these guidelines:

and these:

If you have any questions, feel free to send me a private message by clicking on my name on the left, and then clicking "send a private message" at the bottom. If you want to get use and enjoyment out of this community, you have to follow our guidelines, otherwise you will find you no longer have use of it.

Now, back ontopic:

4M40, as previously stated, has a timing chain, which in and of itself is a big reason to have it. Also has more HP, which the 4D56 certainly doesn't have an abundance of. But another reason many like the 4m40 is because it also came in a vehicle with stronger components overall, ie bigger diffs, etc.
